Description
A collection of jewellery and accessories featuring a yellow metal ladies’ wristwatch. The watch is constructed with a yellow metal case and a polished multi-link bracelet, housing a black dial set with twelve crystal hour markers. The dial is printed with a gold-tone “G.S” logo and the word “QUARTZ” in capital letters. The timepiece is presented in a blue textured case with a cream satin-lined interior, featuring a gold-tone “G.S” monogram on the inner lid. The lot also includes an assorted group of rings, comprising a red translucent band, a carved wooden band with inlaid dot decoration, and three further bands in cream and tan shades appearing to be of bone or shell composition. Included is a red presentation box from Beevers Jewellers, Petts Wood, containing a pair of silver-tone stud earrings in the form of birds. Two brooches are present: a green foliate style piece and a tapered bone or antler pin set with a faceted amber-coloured stone in a white metal mount. A small circular fabric-covered box with a red lining contains a white metal chain, a green pear-cut stone in a yellow metal setting, a faceted red stone, and various white metal components. A loose carved light green stone pendant in a foliate shape completes the collection.
Condition report:
The yellow metal wristwatch shows light surface scratching to the case and bracelet links, visible in photo 4. The blue presentation case remains in good order with no significant wear to the interior or exterior. The bird-shaped earrings in the Beevers Jewellers box exhibit notable tarnish to the silver-tone finish (photo 3). The wooden ring shows slight wear to the inlaid decoration (photo 3). The bone and shell style rings appear intact with natural variations in colour and texture. The green foliate brooch and bone pin with amber-coloured stone show no visible chips or fractures. The fabric-covered box displays some fraying to the edges of the textile covering (photo 2). All items appear to be in good used condition unless otherwise stated.
