Description

A collection of silver and white metal jewellery including an assortment of bracelets, rings, a necklace, earrings, and cufflinks. The group features a heavy white metal Byzantine style link chain necklace and a rigid torque style bangle with clear stone accents at the terminals. The collection contains several rings, including a decorative bezel-set ring with a yellow gemstone, possibly Citrine or amber, a smaller ring with a blue marquise-cut stone, a plain wide band, a patterned band, and a twisted wire band. Further items include a filigree flower-shaped brooch, a pair of stud earrings featuring blue cabochon stones, possibly Lapis Lazuli, and a pair of cufflinks with mother-of-pearl and metal fretwork. A small feather-motif pendant on a fine chain is presented in its original green box, the lid of which is printed with a circular logo and the words STERLING SILVER.

Condition report:

The collection shows varying degrees of age-related wear and tarnish. Heavy tarnish is visible on the Byzantine style chain (photo 1) and the wide ring band (photo 3). The yellow stone in the bezel-set ring appears secure but shows minor surface abrasions (photo 2). The mother-of-pearl cufflinks and lapis lazuli style earrings appear in good order with minor oxidation to the metal components (photo 2). The green presentation box for the pendant shows minor scuffing to the edges (photo 3).
