Description
A collection of compact discs and audiobooks, predominantly housed in four black nylon and clear PVC storage cases with carry handles. The collection focuses on 20th-century vocalists, easy listening, jazz, and stage and screen soundtracks. Notable artists identified from the jewel case spines include Roy Orbison, Neil Diamond, Burl Ives, Patsy Cline, and Glenn Miller. The assortment features several multi-disc sets such as The Platinum Collection for Gershwin, Cole Porter, and Jo Stafford, alongside Roger Whittaker’s 100 Hits Voices. Spoken word titles include audiobooks by P.D. James and other AudioGO releases. The lot also contains a number of CD-R media discs. Several cases bear printed labels and catalogue numbers, including PLATCD 727, PC 622, and PWK 092.
Condition report:
The collection is housed in standard plastic cases which exhibit varying degrees of surface scuffing and light scratching consistent with use and storage in transport bags (photos 1-3). The transport bags show signs of wear, including creasing to the clear PVC panels and a strip of white tape applied to one bag (photo 3). The discs themselves have not been inspected for scratches or playback quality.
