Lot 150:
Description
A collection of assorted contemporary Christmas decorations and artificial trees. The lot includes two boxed pre-lit battery-operated 2ft (0.6m) green trees by Christmas by George Home. The original retail packaging for these trees specifies 70 tree tips, 20 warm white LED lights, and a burlap-wrapped base. Also included is a larger unboxed tabletop artificial fir tree with a similar burlap base, a standing stag figure finished in silver glitter and sequins, and a pair of decorative twig constructions in the form of a cone-shaped tree and a five-pointed star. These twig items are decorated with silver-tone baubles, pinecones, and artificial greenery.
The assortment is further composed of a dark-stained wooden pine tree ornament on a rectangular plinth, a foliage bundle of grey twigs tied with twine, and various loose garland components featuring eucalyptus-style leaves, frosted pine, and white berries on a circular wire frame. Completing the lot is a vertical wooden countdown plaque painted with the text: He’s making a list & checking it twice, only [blank space] more days to prove you are NICE!, featuring a black bell and holly motif. The boxed items bear printed labels for Christmas by George Home.
Condition report:
The items generally appear to be in good used condition. The two boxed trees remain in their original retail packaging, which shows light storage wear and minor scuffing to the cardboard (photo 1). There is visible minor shedding of glitter from the reindeer figure and artificial frosting from the foliage components (photo 2). The wooden sign and ornaments appear intact with no significant paint loss or damage to the surfaces (photo 4). The electronic LED components of the pre-lit trees are untested.
