Description
A collection of equestrian themed decorative items comprising a mantel clock, a large sculpture, and several miniature figurines. The mantel clock is constructed from cold-cast resin with a bronze-effect finish, featuring a sculpture of a standing mare and a reclining foal on a fluted plinth base with scrolled details. The clock face is set with a white chapter ring, Roman numerals, and a gold-tone decorative centre. A white adhesive label is attached to the right side of the clock base reading K1375A. The second large sculpture is a black-finished resin-style figure on a dark wood-effect base, depicting a rearing horse beside a seated female figure.
The group also includes an assortment of seven miniature ceramic horse and donkey figurines. These are finished in various gloss glazes including chestnut, bay, and dark brown tones. One small rearing horse features a gold-tone lustre glaze. No manufacturer marks or signatures are visible on the exterior surfaces of these items. This lot comprises the decorative items only; the wooden shelving shown in the photographs is not included.
Condition report:
The mantel clock is missing its protective face crystal (photo 1). All items in the collection show a significant accumulation of surface dust and dirt, most notably the black figural sculpture (photo 4). There is minor surface wear to the bronze-effect finish on the clock and the black resin sculpture. The ceramic miniatures appear to be in good order without visible chips or cracks from the provided images (photo 3).
