Description
This lot comprises a Sakura electric step-through bicycle finished in silver. The bicycle is constructed with a metal frame featuring an integrated battery compartment in the downtube and is equipped with a front hub-drive motor. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano SIS six-speed derailleur system operated by a right-hand thumb shifter. Safety features include Wuxing rim brakes to the front and rear, and approximately 24-inch wheels fitted with orange-walled tyres. The bicycle is further equipped with a front mesh basket, a rear luggage rack supporting a locking hard-shell top box with red lenses, and a spring-cushioned saddle. The handlebars house a central console display and an on/off power switch.
A printed adhesive label on the frame reads SAKURA BATTERY CO. LTD., KERB WEIGHT: 39.50KL., MAX. POWER: 200 WATT, RIDER MUST BE AT LEAST 14, SERIAL NO. S300053293, and MANUFACTURED FOR SAKURA IN CHINA. Blue oval Sakura badges are present on the frame, fork, and console. The lot includes a black mains battery charger with a UK three-pin plug. No keys for the rear cargo pod or battery lock are visible.
Condition report:
The bicycle shows signs of moderate use and weathering consistent with age. Visible surface oxidation and rust are present on the chain, rear cassette, spokes, and various bolt heads (photo 3). The silver finish on the frame and plastic components shows minor scuffing, scratches, and accumulated dirt throughout (photo 1). The tyres appear to have intact tread, though the sidewalls show signs of aging (photo 4). The left-hand handlebar grip shows visible wear (photo 2). The front brake cable appears to be disconnected or loose in the detail shot (photo 7). The operational status of the motor, battery, and charging system has not been tested.
