Lot 88:
Description
A large rectangular multi-pane wall mirror, constructed with a warm-toned polished hardwood frame, likely teak or oak. The frame features a grid of wooden muntins that divide the mirror plate into nine equal rectangular sections, creating a window-style aesthetic. The outer frame is assembled with visible finger joints at the corners, characteristic of mid-century modern furniture design. The mirror plate is inset within a slim profile frame showing a natural wood grain throughout. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the wooden frame or the glass.
Width: 45 inches
Height: 33 inches.
Condition report:
The mirror glass and frame are in good overall condition. The hardwood frame shows some light surface wear, including a few small scuffs and minor finish loss visible on the top and left edges (photo 3). The finger-jointed corners appear tight and structurally sound. The mirror silvering is clear with no significant evidence of foxing, clouding, or silvering loss visible in the photographs.
