Description
A collection of Pierrot style decorative items and dolls, featuring an assortment of porcelain and textile goods. The lot comprises multiple dolls of various sizes, predominantly featuring painted bisque or porcelain heads, hands, and feet with soft cloth bodies. Notable pieces include a large doll in a white satin style outfit with black pom-poms and a medium doll in a black satin style outfit with white pom-poms. The collection also includes a table lamp with a ceramic Pierrot base and a patterned fabric lampshade, two matching textile cushions featuring line-art illustrations, and various ceramic and glass accessories. A circular plate with a blue border is printed with the text PIERROT on a pink cloud motif. A rectangular wall mirror with a red frame also carries the printed text PIERROT at the base. Other items include a square wall clock with a photographic print, arched glass stand-up decorations, and a small orange-red circular trinket box with a lid motif.
Condition report:
The items generally appear to be in good vintage condition. The fabric lampshade shows some light age-related spotting or foxing (photo 4). The dolls and their clothing appear largely intact, though some dust accumulation is visible on the black satin fabrics and faux-fur elements (photo 2). No chips or cracks are visible to the glass surfaces of the mirrors or stand-up decorations. The ceramic plate and figurines show no visible chips or crazing from the front perspective (photo 1).
