Description

A collection of vintage and modern board games and dolls, including examples by Waddingtons, Ideal, Ohio Art, and Gibsons. The lot comprises several boxed games: a Walt Disney Characters Shaker Maker craft set by Ideal featuring Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Pluto; a Waddingtons Monopoly board game in its red and white card box; an Ohio Art Etch-A-Sketch magic screen drawing toy; and a Gibsons Traditional Mah Jongg set. The collection also includes an assortment of soft toys and dolls, featuring a large cream plush teddy bear wearing a red ‘Happy Birthday’ shirt, a pink and white variegated plush cat, and a Ty Beanie Buddy ‘Rescue’ firefighter.

The group further contains multiple fabric dolls in various styles, including three fabric dolls with blue jackets and striped trousers, and one larger soft-bodied figure in similar attire. Plastic and composition dolls are present, including one dressed in a green skirt with a red headscarf and another in an orange jumpsuit. A small wooden box contains several smaller dolls with painted features and wooden bodies. The Walt Disney Shaker Maker box bears a printed Ideal logo and reads ‘SHAKER MAKER WALT DISNEY CHARACTERS SET’. The Mah Jongg box is printed with ‘Gibsons’ and the website ‘WWW.GIBSONSGAMES.CO.UK’. The Monopoly box is marked ‘Waddingtons’, and the Etch-A-Sketch box carries the ‘Ohio Art’ logo.
