Description
A collection of vintage sportswear and apparel including various t-shirts, polo shirts, denim, and accessories. The group features several items in a 1990s aesthetic, including a black cotton t-shirt with a multi-coloured abstract graphic and a neon pink and green nylon holdall bag with geometric patterns. The bag is marked with a yellow adhesive label reading OFF 5 A. Heubel SPORTLINE. Two t-shirts are designed in the Nike style; one black shirt features a multi-coloured embroidered wordmark reading NIKE beside white text Beaverton, Oregon U.S.A., and a yellow t-shirt bears a large embroidered swoosh motif containing the word NIKE in green, red, and white.
A cream-coloured piqué cotton polo shirt features an embroidered FILA logo and is fitted with a white fabric neck label reading Paolo Borghesi XXL. A blue polo shirt carries a similar neck label reading Paolo Borghesi XL. The assortment also includes a pair of heavy-duty black high-top boots with mesh panels and lugged outsoles, featuring a Velcro strap embroidered with FILA in gold-tone thread. Several pairs of light-wash denim jeans are present, including one pair with a brown leather-style waist patch embossed with a horseshoe device and text reading Smithy Premium Quality TRADITIONAL JEANSWEAR. A navy blue baseball cap is included, featuring a plastic snapback closure marked NIKE.
Condition report:
The collection shows signs of use consistent with second-hand vintage apparel. The cream polo shirt shows visible pilling to the fabric surface (photo 6). The heavy-duty boots exhibit significant scuffing, dirt accumulation, and wear to the outsoles (photo 2). The neon holdall bag has visible dark marks and staining on the green nylon panels (photo 3). The remaining items show general fading and light wear to graphics and fabric consistent with age.
