Description
A group of landscape photographs and picture frames comprising three framed black and white landscape prints and three additional new frames. The photographs are digital pigment prints on paper, featuring minimalist high-key winter scenes of trees in snow-covered landscapes. Each print is mounted behind glass within a white mat, bordered by a gold-toned inner fillet, and housed in a black wooden frame. The prints bear handwritten inscriptions in pencil on the mounts: “Winter Oaks”, “Winter Wood”, and “Winter Oak, Suffolk”.
The lot includes three additional new frames by The Portico Gallery, which remain in their original shrink-wrap packaging with floral insert labels. The labels identify the picture size as 14″ x 11″ / 36 x 28cm and state the frames can be used with a mount and are ready to hang or stand both ways. These supplementary frames feature white finished mouldings and are from the website www.therange.co.uk.
Condition report:
The three black-framed photographs appear to be in good overall condition. Minor scuffing and small nicks are visible on the edges of the black wooden frames (photo 1). The glazing and prints appear clean with no visible foxing, staining, or silvering. The three additional white Portico Gallery frames are new and unused, remaining in their original shrink-wrap plastic (photo 1).
