Description
A collection of decorative metal and glass lanterns and table ornaments in various styles. The group includes two matching industrial style lanterns constructed from rusted iron frames, each supporting a multi-toned pillar candle in cream, amber, and orange hues with perforated metal caps. Also featured is a brass-plated street lamp style ornament with a twisted stem and textured glass panes, a white painted metal cylindrical lantern with scrolling filigree cut-outs, and a small blue painted metal lantern with star-shaped perforations. Completing the lot are a modern rectangular silver-toned metal and glass lantern, a small dark metal Moroccan style lantern with red textured glass panes, and a clear glass bottle with a wire bale handle. The glass bottle features a yellow screen-printed design reading “FANCY A TOP UP” with a horizontal line of stars and a partial logo to the base beginning with a “.” followed by the letter “j”. One candle retains a manufacturer’s label with a barcode and the numerical code “637-110”.
Condition report:
The rusted iron lanterns and the small Moroccan style lantern feature heavy surface oxidation and rust, which appears to be a deliberate decorative finish (photo 1, 3). The brass-toned lamp shows minor tarnishing and surface dust across the glass panes (photo 1). The white filigree lantern and blue star lantern exhibit minor surface wear and small paint chips at the edges (photo 1). The rectangular glass lantern and \"Fancy A Top Up\" bottle appear in good condition with no visible chips or cracks to the glass (photo 2, 4).
