Description
A collection of Doctor Who and Star Wars memorabilia and collectibles, primarily comprising figurines, ceramic homewares, and printed matter. The group includes several resin and plastic figurines on black hexagonal bases, featuring characters such as a Yeti, a Silurian, a clockwork droid, and a robot Santa Claus. Also present are various Dalek figures in different colour schemes, a Cyberman, a Zygon, and a Giant Robot. The Star Wars component includes ceramic storage jars shaped as R2-D2 and R2-Q5, alongside Darth Vader and Stormtrooper head salt shakers.
The lot further comprises a large black ceramic mug with an embossed Cyberman face, a blue ceramic desk tidy shaped as a TARDIS, and a silver-coloured locomotive model marked with the numeral 9. Printed items include a hardcover copy of Doctor Who: The Writer’s Tale by Russell T Davies and Benjamin Cook, published by BBC Books, and two synthetic fabric wallets featuring Star Wars and Doctor Who motifs. A small black presentation box contains a metal pin badge in the form of a Weeping Angel. The TARDIS desk tidy is marked POLICE PUBLIC CALL BOX around the upper rim.
Condition report:
The items are in unboxed, displayed condition. Visible wear includes scuffing to the edges and corners of the Doctor Who wallet (photo 2) and minor shelf wear to the dust jacket of the book (photo 4). There is general dust accumulation across the collection. The ceramic items, including the R2-D2 jar and Darth Vader shaker, appear free from significant chips or cracks (photo 1). The figurines appear largely complete, though fine antennae and eye stalks on the Dalek figures should be inspected for minor breakages.
