Description

A collection of mixed mechanic tools presented in three plastic storage crates. This lot comprises a diverse assortment of workshop equipment, including multiple socket heads in various sizes, extension bars, and socket accessories such as a red plastic socket rail. The collection features a variety of combination, open-ended, ring, and obstruction spanners in both forged and chrome-vanadium steel. Several pieces are stamped with manufacturer markings, including a large combination wrench marked Made in England, another marked Chrome Alloy, and a wrench head bearing the characters B.R. One tool is stamped with the number 218292. The set spans several decades, encompassing both mid-20th-century forged steel tools and more modern chrome-plated examples.

Condition report:

The tools are in a used workshop condition throughout. Surface wear, grease residue, and varying degrees of oxidation and surface corrosion are visible across the collection. Some chrome-plated items show significant plating loss and pitting (photo 1), while the older forged steel pieces exhibit a heavy patina consistent with age and regular use.
