Description
A collection of sterling silver and white metal jewellery presented in individual clear plastic display boxes. This assortment comprises various items including several pairs of stud and drop earrings, nose studs, nose clips, and nose wires. The pieces are fashioned from white metal, with several components bearing readable stamps for “STERLING SILVER” or the “925” fineness mark on the backing cards and metal parts. The collection features a variety of decorative motifs such as dolphins, knots, stylized animals, and geometric patterns. Inlays and settings include tiger’s eye, turquoise-coloured stones, pink cabochon stones, and blue and clear faceted stones.
Several boxes retain printed identification labels including “Sterling Silver”, “Sterling Silver & Tigereye”, “Austrian Crystal”, “NOSE STUD”, “NOSE WIRE”, and “NOSE CLIP”. Handwritten price markings are present on some packaging, including a label reading “£13.95” and another marked “£8.95”.
Condition report:
The jewellery is in fair to good condition overall. Surface tarnish and oxidation are visible on several white metal pieces, notably on the nose wires and clips (photo 1). Some decorative stones appear secure in their settings, though some dust and surface wear are evident across the collection. The plastic display boxes exhibit various scuffs, scratches, and accumulated dust consistent with handling and storage (photo 2 and 3). One box shows significant surface marking and internal debris (photo 4).
