Description
A large contemporary floral study print, depicting a vibrant cluster of orange California poppies. The composition features several blooms in various stages of flowering, from tight buds to full blossoms with characteristic orange and yellow gradients, set against a soft-focus background of green and yellow foliage. The work is signed Charlie in a white cursive script at the lower right corner, with a long horizontal tail extending from the final letter. The print is professionally presented within a double mount consisting of a cream outer border and a narrow orange inner slip, housed in a dark wood frame with a gilt inner edge. A white adhesive label from the framingcentre, Plymouth, is affixed to the verso of the backing board.

Condition report:
The print appears to be in good overall condition with no visible evidence of damage (photo 1). The framing is intact with only minor scattered scuffing to the wooden surface consistent with handling (photo 3). The double mount is clean and free from visible foxing or water damage. The paper backing on the verso remains securely sealed around the edges (photo 3).
