Description

A collection of assorted hand tools housed in a blue plastic cantilever tool box. The assortment includes a variety of vintage woodworking implements featuring turned wooden handles, such as bradawls, gimlets, and files. The mechanical component of the lot comprises multiple steel sockets in various sizes, a collection of twist drill bits, and several spanners, including a large multi-purpose service wrench embossed with the words MADE IN ENGLAND. Measuring equipment includes two 3m/10ft tape measures: one silver-cased example marked FISCO and a green-cased unit marked DRAPER Easy Find. Additional items include pliers, scissors, and a red-handled screwdriver. The toolbox features a two-tier cantilever design with two clear plastic organiser compartments on the lid and a black carry handle. A manufacturer’s label on the front reads 56 cm 22, CANTILEVER TOOL BOX, and KETER.

The toolbox label indicates a length of approximately 56 cm.

Condition report:

The items are in a well-used condition. The Keter toolbox shows surface scuffs, dirt residue, and clouding to the clear plastic lids (photo 1). Many metal components, including the sockets, drill bits, and wrenches, exhibit significant surface oxidation and rust (photo 3). The wooden handles on the vintage tools show wear, staining, and minor splitting consistent with workshop use (photo 2). The mechanical items are untested.
