Description

A collection of animal figurines and decorative objects featuring a variety of styles and materials. The group is primarily composed of ceramic and porcelain cat figures, including a large cream Siamese cat with dark points and blue eyes, a stylised long-neck green and white cat with an arched tail, and several smaller tabby, ginger, and Siamese kittens in various poses. The assortment also includes a group of two owls on a stump, a stylised pig in a green waistcoat, a carved wooden cat silhouette, a textured stone style elephant, and a small hedgehog figure. Included in the lot is a floral-bordered metal and glass photo frame designed for a 4 inch by 6 inch (10cm x 15.2cm) insert. Accompanying the figurines is an Indian style painting on paper, depicting a procession of six caparisoned elephants against a pink background, enclosed within a black and gold leaf decorative border. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible on the pieces.

The items appear generally intact and in good overall condition. Minor surface dust is present across the collection. The Indian style painting shows light creasing and slight wear to the paper edges (photo 2). No chips, cracks, or restorations are visible on the ceramic figurines in the provided images.
