Description
A collection of vintage costume jewellery and accessories, primarily composed of gold-tone and silver-tone base metals. The assortment includes numerous rings with various settings, featuring simulated stones, enamel details, and cabochon-cut stones including tigers eye style and blue lace agate style examples. The lot further comprises several pairs of cufflinks in various styles featuring mother-of-pearl and red glass inserts, including a pair shaped as artist palettes. A variety of pierced earrings are present, ranging from simple ball studs to natural stone drops.
The collection features items in original retail packaging, including necklaces and earrings by Princess Club, and several cards of ear cuffs. A blue and white enameled frog pendant and a cameo style necklace are also included. A blue display card for “Superior Quality Ear Piercing Studs” is present, listing various birthstone-coloured crystals such as “Garnet Red”, “Amethyst Mauve”, and “Sapphire Blue”. Some items bear printed adhesive labels with handwritten pricing in British Pounds.
Condition report:
The collection appears in used but generally intact condition. Some tarnish and surface wear consistent with age and handling is visible across the metal components (photo 1). Several items remain in their original retail packaging, which shows some yellowing and creasing to the plastic and card backings (photo 6). The earrings on the \"Pierced Earrings\" display card show some dust accumulation (photo 7). No significant losses or breaks are immediately apparent from the photographs.
