Description
A collection of approximately 80 compact discs covering a diverse range of genres including pop, rock, jazz, classical, choral, and soundtracks. The lot includes notable artists such as Robbie Williams, Midnight Oil, Duffy, Aerosmith, Indigo Girls, and The Pogues. Jazz and vocal highlights include Ella Fitzgerald’s The Rodgers and Hart Songbook Vol 1 and 2, Tony Bennett’s The Essential, and Eva Cassidy’s Songbird. World and choral music is represented by Ladysmith Black Mambazo and The Tallis Scholars.
The discs are primarily housed in standard plastic jewel cases, with some slimline examples. Labels and catalogue numbers visible include EMI 7243 5 55246 2 1, Columbia 510782 2, and Camden 74321 628062. One case for Ladysmith Black Mambazo bears a red and white adhesive label reading NEW. This lot comprises the compact discs only; the wooden shelving unit and other interior items shown in the images are not included.
Condition report:
The media has not been inspected out of the cases and playability is unknown. The jewel cases show varying degrees of surface scratching, scuffing, and typical shelf wear consistent with use (photo 1). Some cases have remnants of adhesive residue from former price stickers. One case in the first image (Ladysmith Black Mambazo) has an applied sticker. The lot is sold as seen.
