Description
A collection of decorative objects and collectibles comprising a variety of ornamental and novelty items. The group features a rectangular carved wooden box decorated with an inlaid foliate and floral design in bone or mother-of-pearl to the lid, bearing a white adhesive label reading K1375A. Also included is a vintage Kodak camera housed in a black leatherette case, embossed with Kodak and Made in England on the front. Two contemporary pewter-toned sculptures are present, depicting an embracing family and a dancing couple respectively. The lot further contains an assortment of trophies featuring dart and sporting motifs, several small dark red resin figures of Chinese deities including Budai, and boxed items such as an Impossipuzzle Sweethearts jigsaw puzzle, a Victoria Collection three-piece vanity set, and a Golden Jubilee 1952-2002 commemorative plate in original packaging. A small tin marked TREATS FOR and a box for a Sentiment Candle Holder complete the collection.
Condition report:
The items generally appear in good used condition. The cardboard packaging for the Impossipuzzle and Victoria Collection set shows visible wear, including creasing and minor tearing to the corners and edges (photo 3). The leatherette camera case exhibits surface wear and softening to the strap consistent with age (photo 1). The wooden box shows no visible losses to the inlay, though the interior remains uninspected. The resin figures and pewter-toned sculptures appear free from significant chips or fractures (photo 2).
