Description
A collection of sterling silver jewellery and findings, predominately presented on original card backings. The assortment features a variety of zodiac-themed pendants in rectangular and circular forms, specifically representing Gemini, Libra, Sagittarius, Virgo, Pisces, and Cancer. The group includes a large sand dollar pendant, a heart-shaped locket, a cameo pendant, and a bezel-set red cabochon pendant, possibly containing glass or garnet. The collection further comprises a mount for a 20p coin and multiple fine-link curb and cable chains of varying lengths. Several items bear legible markings including “Sterling Silver” printed on the card backings and others with stamped “925” or British silver hallmarks. One backing card is marked “SAGITTARIUS” and another “LIBRA”. Price and stock labels are present on several items, including one reading “£1.95” and another handwritten as “T13740”.
Condition report:
The collection shows visible surface oxidation and tarnish across multiple pieces (photo 1). Verdigris is present on some metal components, notably on the coin mount (photo 2). Several card backings exhibit pin-point rust staining and creasing (photo 4). The plastic packaging displays surface scratching and general wear commensurate with storage (photo 5).
