Description
A collection of vintage fashion earrings, primarily from the 1980s, comprising a wide assortment of clip-on and pierced designs. The pieces are constructed from plastic, resin, enamel, base metal, and imitation pearls in various geometric, floral, and nautical styles. Notable designs include Memphis-style patterns, oversized buttons, neon accents, and chunky resin hoops. Several items are presented on their original retail cards, including examples marked with a gold-tone cursive All That Jazz script. Other cards feature printed block lettering for FASHION EARRINGS and HYPO-ALLERGENIC EARRINGS. Many cards bear alphanumeric series codes such as GJ/ERF124, BV/16507, and JR/BGSD, alongside original UK retail price markings ranging from 20p to £1.95. One handwritten inventory tag reading T1374 D is also present.
Condition report:
The collection is in good vintage condition, appearing as new old stock on original retail cards. Some display cards show age-related yellowing, light foxing, or creasing. The metal components show minor surface oxidation consistent with age. One blue earring in the lower centre appears to have a single small rhinestone loss (photo 1).
