Description

A large collection of stoneware dinner and tea wares featuring the Harvest pattern. The collection includes a diverse assortment of items such as dinner plates, side plates, tea plates, cereal bowls, and a large teapot with a lid. Further pieces include a large water or milk jug, a smaller cream jug, multiple teacups and coffee mugs of varying designs, matching saucers, and egg cups. The lot also features a divided egg or hors d’oeuvres dish and a coordinating set of stainless steel cutlery with ceramic handles, comprising knives and forks. Each piece is decorated with transfer-printed stylized wildflowers, berries, and wheat stalks in a palette of yellow, green, orange, and brown on a cream-coloured ground. Most items feature a brown stripe to the rim. A printed brown backstamp is visible on the underside of a saucer, reading “MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN”, “HARVEST”, “1418”, and “OVEN TO TABLEWARE” within a circular border.

Condition report:

The collection appears to be in good used condition overall with no major chips, cracks, or visible repairs apparent in the overview images (photos 1, 3, and 5). The transfer-printed decoration remains clear and well-defined across the pieces. A temporary pink adhesive label is present on the interior of one cup (photo 3), which is not a permanent defect. The ceramic handles on the cutlery set appear intact and securely attached.
