Description

A collection of nine decorative glass items featuring various mid-century modern and contemporary styles. The group includes a large three-pointed vase with a white exterior and black interior, featuring a mottled black-and-white textured base. Also included is a vibrant purple free-form glass basket with a high-arched handle and a smaller smoky amethyst bowl with pulled star-like points. The lot features a frosted white figurine of a stylised owl, which bears an oval gold-tone adhesive label reading W edgwood England. A small blue and white marbled squat vase is present, bearing a circular black and gold label printed with MTARFA GLASSBLOWERS. The assortment is completed by a heavy square-form emerald green ashtray with a textured grid well encased in black, a small triangular green sommerso style dish encased in yellow and clear glass, and a pair of cylindrical shot glasses with swirled dark blue and green patterns.

Condition report:

The items appear to be in generally good condition with no large chips or cracks visible in the overview photographs (photos 1 and 4). Light surface scratching consistent with age may be present on the polished flat bases. The Wedgwood label on the owl figurine shows some light wear to the edges but remains legible (photo 2). The Mtarfa label is intact and clearly legible (photo 3).
