Description
A collection of costume jewellery comprising approximately twenty-six pairs of stud earrings and one heart-shaped pendant necklace. The assortment features a variety of faceted Austrian Crystal examples in various colours including ruby red, emerald green, amber, amethyst purple, and pink. Several pairs are presented with a surrounding border of clear crystals. The collection also includes semi-precious stone and organic material examples, identified by adhesive labels as Jade, Aventurine, Green Paua Shell, and Black Onyx. Many items are housed in individual clear plastic display cases featuring printed labels reading Austrian Crystal and Sterling Silver. One pair of earrings is presented in a black card box marked Sterling Silver. The pendant necklace features a central purple stone or crystal within a heart-shaped border on a fine chain. While many cases bear Sterling Silver labels, the metal purity has not been independently verified.
Condition report:
The collection appears to be in new-old-stock condition and is presented in individual display cases. All stones and crystals appear to be present and secure in their settings. Some of the plastic display cases show light surface scuffing and dust consistent with storage (photo 1). No visible damage is noted to the jewellery items themselves.
