Description
A collection of various wristwatches and pocket watches, including examples by Sekonda, Ben Sherman, and Zeon. The assortment comprises several boxed wristwatches: a Sekonda manual wind watch with a white dial featuring Roman numerals and 19 jewels; a gold-tone Sekonda dress watch with a champagne dial; a Ben Sherman tank-style chronograph with three sub-dials on a brown leather strap; and an Eiger stainless steel watch marked Typ 5823. Two character watches by Zeon are present in original blister packaging, featuring The Real Ghostbusters and Ice Age designs. The collection further includes a gold-tone hunter-cased pocket watch marked Ricardo, two bronze-tone decorative pocket watches with ornate filigree covers and chains, and a copper-tone wide cuff bracelet watch with inset rhinestones. Also included is a Swiss Mono presentation set containing a multi-function stainless steel wristwatch and a pair of black sunglasses, and a silver-tone metal embossed tin reading BOOTLEG. The watches are presented with various instruction manuals and original retail packaging where visible.
Condition report:
The boxed watches and blister-packed character watches appear to be in good, possibly unused condition with original packaging (photo 1). The copper-tone cuff watch shows surface oxidation and wear to the metallic finish (photo 3). The silver-tone metal tin shows significant surface tarnishing and wear to the embossed lettering (photo 1). The gold-tone pocket watch shows minor surface scratches to the case (photo 3). Functional status and timekeeping accuracy of movements have not been tested.
