Description

This lot comprises two rectangular wall mirrors in contrasting decorative styles. The first mirror is a large landscape-oriented piece featuring a beveled mirror plate set within a gilt-effect molded frame. The frame is decorated with a beaded inner border and a tiered outer profile. The second mirror is a long, narrow portrait-oriented pier-style mirror. It features a flat mirror plate housed in a dark mahogany-tone wood-effect frame, highlighted by a contrasting gold-tone beaded inner slip. Both items appear to be late 20th-century decorative pieces. No manufacturer names, marks, or labels are visible on the frames or the mirror plates from the provided images.

Condition report:

Both mirrors are in good condition. The gilt-finish frame shows minor surface wear consistent with age (photo 1). The beveled mirror plate appears clear with no visible foxing or silvering loss (photo 1). The wood-tone frame on the second mirror remains intact with minor surface marks to the corners (photo 1). The flat mirror glass is clear and shows no signs of deterioration (photo 2).
