Lot 339:
Sold for: £14
Description
A trio of mid-century modern nesting tables constructed with solid teak frames and teak veneer tops. This lot comprises three tables of graduated sizes, designed to slide together for space-saving storage. The rectangular table tops feature a slightly bowed profile with radiused corners and are finished with a solid wood banding. The base of each table is characterized by a distinctive sled-style frame, where the vertical legs transition into curved horizontal runners at the floor level. The side stretchers are reinforced with double horizontal rungs for structural stability. No manufacturer marks, labels, or stamps are visible on the wood surfaces.
Condition report:
The items are in good used condition. Light surface scratches and minor scuff marks consistent with age and use are visible on the tops and particularly along the legs and the edges of the runners (photo 2). There is some accumulation of dust and debris in the crevices between the rungs (photo 2). The wood grain remains well-defined across all surfaces.
