Description
A collection of vintage costume jewellery featuring a variety of gold and silver tone base metal pieces. The lot includes a cased suite comprising a gold tone foliate link necklace and a pair of matching clip-on earrings, housed in a yellow card presentation box. Notable items in the group include a wide gold tone textured link bracelet set with oval turquoise-coloured glass or plastic cabochons, and a heavy textured curb-link chain necklace with a toggle clasp.
The assortment also contains several multi-strand necklaces, one featuring integrated amber-coloured glass beads, and another with a rhinestone-encrusted spherical pendant. Decorative elements include silver tone floral-link chains, a foliate brooch set with iridescent aurora borealis rhinestones, and segments of orange-toned glass cabochons. One item in the group bears a white adhesive label reading CHAME LION.
Condition report:
The items are in used vintage condition with visible surface wear and tarnishing to the gold tone finishes, most notable on the heavy curb-link chain (photo 1) and the turquoise-set bracelet (photo 3). Some misalignment and loose wiring is present on the orange cabochon segments (photo 2). The jewellery is currently tangled and requires cleaning and sorting. No missing stones are immediately apparent from the overview images.
