Description

A collection of costume jewellery comprising an assortment of necklaces, bracelets, bangles, and pendants in various styles and materials. The group includes a heavy gauge sterling silver woven link bracelet, presented in a fitted box with a label reading STERLING SILVER; the clasp is struck with an oval hallmark that is not clearly legible as a specific maker. Also included is a gold-tone teddy bear pendant heavily encrusted with clear rhinestones, featuring a raised orb-and-cross motif on the chest, reminiscent of Vivienne Westwood designs.

Notable pieces within the lot include a large filigree butterfly pendant set with purple rhinestones, a Maltese cross with purple cabochon stones, and an Egyptian Ankh pendant set with amber-coloured stones. The assortment further features several abalone shell pendants, two owl-themed pendants including one enameled and one gold-tone example, and various beaded stretch bracelets. One necklace is housed in a presentation box with an adhesive label reading Made with CRYSTALLIZED – Swarovski Elements. A further necklace chain carries a metal hang-tag stamped SILVER PLATED. The collection is completed by a small gold-tone mesh evening bag style pill box and a cameo pendant on a black ribbon.

Condition report:

The collection is in generally good, used condition. Visible tarnishing and wear to the base metal plating is evident on several chains and bangles (photo 1). The large butterfly pendant appears to have all stones intact (photo 9). One necklace contained within a plastic bag appears tangled (photo 12). The sterling silver bracelet and its presentation box show minimal signs of wear (photo 4).
