Description
This lot comprises a Yamaha electric guitar starter set, including a solid body electric guitar, a portable practice amplifier, and a soft carry case. The guitar features a double-cutaway body in a black gloss finish, fitted with a maple neck and a rosewood style fingerboard featuring dot inlays. It is configured with humbucker-single-humbucker (HSH) pickups, a five-way selector switch, and single volume and tone controls. The headstock is marked with the Yamaha logo and model designation ERG 121. A label on the reverse of the headstock reads YAMAHA, Electric Guitars & Basses, Made in Indonesia in accordance with specifications of Yamaha Corporation, and CE N89. The accompanying Yamaha GA-10 guitar amplifier is a 10W solid-state unit with a brown speaker grille cloth and controls for volume, treble, and bass, alongside a clean/drive channel select switch and a 1/4 inch headphone jack. The set is completed by a black nylon soft gig bag with backpack straps and an attached black guitar strap.
Condition report:
The guitar body shows surface scratches and fingerprints throughout, particularly visible on the gloss black finish (photo 3). The amplifier casing and grille cloth appear intact with no visible tears, although the unit is untested for operational status. The gig bag shows light dust and surface wear consistent with handling (photo 1). The headstock shows minor edge wear but remains structurally sound (photo 4). No significant structural damage or repairs are visible to the neck or bridge assembly.
