Description
A collection of recorded music media comprising of vinyl LPs, 7-inch vinyl singles, and cassette tapes. The LPs feature a variety of easy listening and popular music, including Tie A Yellow Ribbon by Botticelli and his Orchestra on the Decca Gold Crown Series label (DGS 15), and Mediterranean Moonlight by Frank Chacksfield and His Orchestra (RAMP 7). Other identified titles include ABBA Greatest Hits on the Epic label, Elvis’ Love Songs by K-Tel, and Bright Eyes by Johnny Pearson. The 7-inch singles include budget releases from the Embassy label, such as Are You Sure by Don Duke & Bobby Stevens, alongside Columbia records releases by Paul Anka and Teddy Johnson with Pearl Carr. Four cassette tapes are included, featuring titles such as The Best of The Seekers and 20 Golden Greats by ABBA.
Condition report:
The collection is in used condition with visible age-related wear. LP sleeves show significant edge wear, creasing, and surface scuffing throughout the stack (photo 2). The Embassy 7-inch sleeve has visible staining and tearing at the top edge, and the paper sleeves for the singles are heavily creased and frayed (photo 3). Cassette cases show surface scratching, and one case appears to have a cracked hinge (photo 1). The vinyl discs and cassette tapes are unplayed and sold as seen.
