Description
A collection of gilt and silver-tone costume jewellery making components and chains, primarily presented in their original wholesale plastic packaging. This lot comprises an assortment of finished and semi-finished chains, including fine-link and curb-link styles, alongside various metal findings. The materials include base metals with gilt, nickel-tone, and silver-tone finishes. Several packages bear descriptive labels and pricing information, including a bag of geometric metal components marked “15 PAD BRACELETS 20 GILT @ 34p £6.80” and a quantity of gold-tone chains with a yellow adhesive label reading “GOLD PLATED 75p”. Other items include carded sets of silver-tone chains, one featuring a white label reading “T1374 D”, and bags of nickel-tone curb chains in 16-inch and 24-inch lengths. Specifically, one bag is printed “24” Nickel Curb Chains. £1.50 each. 25910″ and another “36. 16″ Curb Chains. 30 @ 15p £6.00”. The collection includes both loose lengths and carded wholesale stock.
Condition report:
The items appear to be in unused \"new old stock\" condition. Some tangling is visible to the loose chains within the bulk bags (photo 1). The plastic packaging exhibits signs of age, including yellowing and adhesive residue from labels (photo 2). Several white cardboard hanging cards show minor creasing and wear to the edges (photo 3). No significant damage or missing components are visible within the sealed packs.
