Description
A group of decorative objects comprising a figural table lamp, a turned wood wall barometer, and a carved wood bust. The lamp features a patinated bronze style metal base cast in the form of a stylised female figure with outstretched arms holding a fan-like structure, fitted with a modern LED filament bulb and a gold-coloured flex with a white plastic plug. The barometer is housed in a circular turned wood frame with a brass bezel. The dial is printed with weather conditions including Stormy, Rain, Change, Fair, and Very Dry, and bears a central logo with the letters S and B flanking a stylized wing. The lower edge of the dial is printed with MADE IN ENGLAND and USA PAT No 1528659. The carved wood bust features an elongated head and a stylised face, resting on a stepped rectangular base with carved vertical linear details.
Condition report:
The figural lamp displays oxidation and surface wear to the bronze-tone finish (photo 3). The barometer dial shows visible foxing and dark spotting across the face, and the wooden frame has minor surface scuffs (photo 4). The carved wood bust shows a natural vertical grain and appears to be in good structural condition with minor handling wear to the base (photo 2).
