Description
This lot comprises a group of three table lamps and a carved decorative selenite tower. The first item is a large glass jar style table lamp featuring a clear glass body on a circular wooden base with brushed metal fittings. It is fitted with a neutral beige fabric drum shade and a grey twisted fabric power cord. A label on the metal fitting under the shade reads MAX 60W and RX0809. The second item is a carved selenite or satin spar gypsum tower lamp of skyscraper form, accompanied by a separate white conical light fitting and a black power cord with an inline switch. The third item is a small modern square table lamp with a black glazed ceramic base, a chrome-finished neck, and a matching black fabric square shade. All electrical items are fitted with UK three-pin plugs.
Condition report:
The selenite tower shows natural internal fractures and some yellowing or discolouration to the lower edge (photo 1). The base of the selenite lamp is separate from the crystal tower as noted on an adhesive label (photo 1). The large glass lamp appears in good condition with clear glass (photo 2). The small black ceramic lamp and shade show visible surface dust (photo 1). All electrical components appear intact, but functionality is not tested.
