Description
A Fifty Two Piece IQCREW by AmScope Early Explorer Series microscope set. This lot comprises a starter microscope featuring a black textured metal framework with chrome effect components, designed for educational use. The instrument offers multiple magnification settings including 120x, 240x, 300x, 480x, 600x, and 1200x. It is equipped with a dual illumination system consisting of a built-in electric light, which requires two AA batteries, and a reflecting mirror for natural light. The set includes various scientific accessories such as a plastic slide case, prepared and blank slides, collection vials, a petri dish, and biological specimens labelled Sea Salt, Gum Media, Eosin Dye, and Brine Shrimp Eggs. Tools provided include a scalpel, spatula, needle, and tweezers. The microscope is marked IQCREW by AmScope on both the box and the base of the frame. The set is presented in its original white retail cardboard box which bears the printed text IQCREW by AmScope Early Explorer Series and 52-Piece MICROSCOPE SET.
Condition report:
The microscope and accessories appear unused and are in good condition based on the external presentation (photo 1). The metal framework of the microscope shows no visible signs of wear or paint loss (photo 1). The original retail box shows some signs of storage wear, including creasing and minor compression to the top right and bottom right corners, and a small surface scuff to the front centre of the white cardboard (photo 1). The internal contents are housed in original plastic inserts and appear complete, though individual specimens have not been opened for testing (photo 2).
