Lot 176:
Sold for: £5
Description
This lot comprises ten blocks of compressed peat-free seed and cutting compost by Coco & Coir. Each 1kg block is formulated with 20% perlite to enhance aeration and drainage. The compost is coconut coir-based and designed for fast germination and improved root growth. The individual blocks are shrink-wrapped with printed paper labels featuring the brand name Coco & Coir and the product title COCO GROW+ SEED & CUTTING COMPOST. The labels also state 15 LITRES, referring to the volume of substrate produced when hydrated. The collection is housed in its original cardboard shipping box, which bears the Coco & Coir logo and is marked 10 x 1kg alongside the manufacturer’s address for Southern Trident Limited, Scunthorpe.
Condition report:
The collection appears to be in new and unused condition. One compressed block shows minor surface crumbling of the coir material at a corner beneath the intact plastic shrink-wrap (photo 1). The outer cardboard shipping box is open and exhibits some creasing and general wear from storage (photo 2).
