Description
A collection of decorative ornaments and leisure items, including a boxed set of six gold-coloured resin Hotei or Laughing Buddha figurines. The Buddha set is housed in a black rectangular presentation case with a black fabric-lined interior and includes a card titled The Buddha Collection. The lot further comprises a boxed pair of crystal wine glasses featuring gold-tone rims and a commemorative 50 crest, alongside a diverse group of ceramic and resin figures including a large cast resin sculpture of two hedgehogs, a Leonardo Companions figurine of a girl with a cat on a wooden base, and a character jug depicting a man in a boater hat bearing a label K1375A. Notable ceramic pieces include a large ginger jar with floral transfer-ware and a pitcher with a gilded foliate handle and fruit motif. The leisure component includes four jigsaw puzzles, featuring a 1500-piece Clementoni London scene and a WHSmith 1000-piece puzzle, together with a Radica Talking Bingo electronic game in its original packaging. Condition report:
The items generally appear to be in fair to good condition. The boxed Buddha figures and anniversary wine glasses appear intact within their respective cases (photos 1, 2). The jigsaw puzzle boxes show visible shelf wear, particularly scuffing and softening to the corners (photos 8, 9). The large ceramic pitcher and Leonardo figurine show no obvious chips or cracks from the provided angles (photos 6, 7). The character jug and some smaller ceramic figures show a light accumulation of surface dust (photos 11, 12).
