The lot also comprises an assortment of glass paperweights, including a green and yellow aquatic themed weight with a yellow fish, a faceted clear weight, a blue abstract weight, and a red floral weight bearing a circular white adhesive label reading ‘WARNING DO NOT PLACE IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT’. Kitchenware items include several nested glass mixing bowls in pink, red, and clear glass, a green depression style glass footed dish with a textured interior, and a large ceramic oval platter decorated with orange and yellow floral transfers. Smaller items include a clear glass cat figurine, a miniature glass tankard, and several glass coasters, one featuring a ‘Christmas’ floral engraving.
Condition report:
The collection is in generally fair condition with signs of age and use throughout. The Murano style clown figurine has a visible fracture or chip in the red glass body just below the right white hand. Wear is evident to the gilding on the flared vase. The ceramic platter shows some surface wear to the transfers. The glass mixing bowls and depression style dish appear intact but with some surface scratching consistent with domestic use. All crystal stemware and the decanter should be checked for minor rim chips; however, no major cracks are visible.
