Description
This assortment of jewellery and personal accessories includes various items in sterling silver and base metal. Several pieces are confirmed as sterling silver by the presence of 925 hallmarks, including a multi-strand bracelet featuring five rows of foxtail-link chain bezel-set with a large green oval cabochon and flanked by circular floral stations. Other hallmarked items include an openwork fleur-de-lis style pendant set with a dark oval cabochon and a rose-gold tone Tree of Life circular pendant. The collection also features a pendant set with an organic-shaped amber-like cabochon in a silver-tone frame, a cast metal dragon-form pendant, and an assortment of fine-link chains in both silver and gold tones. Simulated pearl items are included, notably a double-strand necklace with a 925 stamped clasp and a single-strand bracelet. The lot is completed by two metal thimbles, each decorated with a textured band around the base.
Condition report:
The collection is in varied condition consistent with age and use. Tarnish and surface oxidation are visible across several silver-tone items. The single-strand simulated pearl bracelet shows significant wear, with prominent peeling and loss of the iridescent surface coating on multiple beads. The double-strand necklace appears to be in better condition, though the stringing may require inspection. General surface scratching and minor abrasions are present across the metal components.
