Property Description

A detached bungalow occupying a plot of generous proportions in the hamlet of Burraton on the fringes of the village of St Dominick.

Believed to have been built during the 1950’s or thereabouts, this three bedroom bungalow is situated in a favoured location of low density development and it enjoys panoramic views over the surrounding countryside to the River Tamar Estuary in the distance.

The garden is established and well stocked with a variety of plants and shrubs and is a feature of the property.

St Dominick is a pretty South East Cornwall village with many local amenities including Post Office and shop, a popular Primary School, a well renowned pub, both Methodist and Anglican Parish Churches and a snooker hall. The district shopping centres in Callington and Saltash are readily accessible some 4 miles and 8 miles distance respectively and Plymouth City Centre is also within easy commuting distance some 12 miles or so to the East via Tamar Suspension Bridge.

Cotehele which is a National Trust Property is only a short distance away with its lovely house and grounds and there are a host of attractive villages around the Tamar Valley.

Much of the surrounding land is used for agriculture including market gardens and “Treberrick” will appeal in particular to keen gardeners.

The bungalow enjoys the benefit of double glazing and an oil fired central heating system.

The village of St Dominick is located on the eastern side of the A388 linking Saltash and Callington.

At the roundabout serving St Mellion Golf and Country Club which is located on the Callington side of the village of St Mellion follow the road sign posted St Dominick.

Just over a mile there is a T junction leading into the village of St Dominick. Turn right at this and proceed for about 1/2 mile to the Who’d Have Thought It Public House.

Take the right hand fork in the road and proceed for about 1/4 mile then take the first turning on the left hand side and follow the road for a few hundred yards.

‘Treberrick’ is then on the left hand side of the road.
